Introducing Tsutsu’s Animated World
First look at Tsutsu’s animated mini-series.
This fall, Tsutsu takes his very first steps onto the screen in a brandnew 3–4 minute mini-series. Each episode introduces one of Tsutsu’s many whimsical friends — from the sharp-tongued Mocking Magpie to the adventurous little mouse Peppi. Altogether, 18 supporting characters come to life in playful, slice-of-life stories that expand Tsutsu’s world beyond the book.
The feature film — Tsutsu’s full story of identity, belonging, and friendship — is planned for release at the end of 2026.
Behind the Scenes 🐾
Where story and craft meet magic.
Tsutsu’s journey from page to screen is an adventure of its own. Using a mix of hand-crafted storytelling and modern AI animation tools, we bring Tsutsu and his friends to life frame by frame. Each character is designed with care to preserve the warmth, wit, and imagination of the original book.
The series is a collaboration between generations: Crisula, who first imagined Tsutsu on the page, and Monella, who expands his universe through animation and film. Together, they’re building a world where technology meets heart — proving that stories can grow, evolve, and reach new audiences while staying true to their spirit.
Every frame begins with a story, written by Crisula and creatively expanded by Monella. From sketches and concepts to AI-assisted animation, nothing is ever “auto-generated”: every detail is directed, polished, and brought to life with care.
Here you’ll find peeks into the process — storyboards, early art, voice work, and playful experiments — little glimpses of how the Tsutsu universe grows behind the curtain.
